01 / Measure

Square footage is only the first number.

Measure the main slab, stem walls, steps, transitions, and separately used spaces. Bay count is useful for an early conversation, but actual dimensions support a comparable proposal.

02 / Expose

Existing finishes and damage change labor.

Paint, sealer, failed coatings, adhesive, contamination, pitting, cracks, joints, and moisture concerns can materially change removal and repair scope.

03 / Specify

The coating build changes material and time.

Base chemistry, broadcast coverage, number of clear coats, edge details, texture, color, installation temperature, and return timing belong in the proposal.

04 / Compare

Put the same eight questions to every installer.

  • Mechanical preparation method
  • Old coating removal
  • Crack and joint treatment
  • Product names and layers
  • Broadcast coverage
  • Edges and stem walls
  • Walk-on and vehicle cure
  • Warranty and exclusions
