Vertical work changes labor
Machines used on the main slab do not prepare every wall edge or riser. Detail grinding, hand tools, masking, and application technique add scope.
Termination lines should be planned
Decide where the coating stops at drywall, masonry, stairs, door tracks, drains, and transitions before work begins.
Appearance can vary
Broadcast density and clear-coat flow behave differently on vertical surfaces. Review the expected finish rather than assuming it will match the floor exactly.
The material label is not the complete proposal.
Compare surface preparation, repairs, actual product names, layer sequence, coverage, texture, cure schedule, exclusions, and warranty. A low square-foot figure without those details is difficult to evaluate.
