Static and moving cracks differ
A narrow shrinkage crack may receive a different repair than a displaced or recurring crack. No coating system can guarantee that moving concrete will stop moving.
Control joints have a purpose
Filling or coating across a control joint changes how the finished floor looks and may affect where future movement appears. Ask for the joint plan in writing.
Structural signs need another answer
Heaving, settlement, displacement, drainage problems, or active water can sit outside ordinary coating preparation. Resolve the slab issue before choosing a finish.

Compare surface preparation, repairs, actual product names, layer sequence, coverage, texture, cure schedule, exclusions, and warranty. A low square-foot figure without those details is difficult to evaluate.
